The company “HAUL TRUCKS-CA” accepted MISiS students for internship
4th and 5th year students of the Faculty of Mining Machinery and Equipment of the branch of the National Research Technological University “MISiS” in Almalyk undergo an internship at the service center of the company “HAUL TRUCKS-CA”, located on the territory of JSC “AGMK”, quarry Yoshlik-1.
The practice takes place in conditions as close as possible to the real production environment. The students have already completed theoretical training on key aspects of the operation and maintenance of mining equipment, studied the design of the main components and assemblies, as well as the standards of maintenance of heavy mining equipment.
Today, trainees confidently apply their knowledge in practice. Under the guidance of experienced specialists from HAUL TRUCKS-CA, they participate in the maintenance of mining dump trucks: they connect elements of the integrated hydraulic system, measure pressure in the pneumohydraulic suspension, diagnose malfunctions, perform visual inspection for leaks and compile defective statements.
Special attention is paid to the formation of students’ skills in working with professional tools and observing safety regulations. Each task is accompanied by detailed instructions.

The production practice will last until July 26. Students still have many interesting production tasks ahead of them, which will help them consolidate their acquired skills and better understand the specifics of working in the field of mining equipment maintenance.
